Have you heard of being a cyclebreaker?

I first got introduced to this word in graduate school when I was being trained to become a counselor and mental health professional.

That was many years ago and I thought I understood it.

But I didn't.
​At least not at the deeper level I understand it now. 

Something about this word popping up again while recently working towards my board certification in life coaching struck me at a different place in my soul. 

My new course work encouraged me to explore beyond the wounded patterns and stress responses within my family of origin that I grew up with years ago. It challenged me to get more curious about several generations before my parents, too.

​And soon after I began that exploration into some of the intense history endured by my ancestors, an amazing synchronicity occurred.  

I met one of the most warm, calming, and intelligent experts on the topic of healing intergenerational trauma, Diane Sorensen.

This sensitive topic for me is not one that I wanted to discuss in public on my show with just anyone.
