Some people can skip them often and seem to kind of get by. Try This Mindful Art Break I got the incredible experience to have a Career & Life Momentum Chat with Anne Pflug, a Mindfulness & Art Mentor for Leaders and an energizing, accomplished artist herself. I felt so lucky that Anne offered to guide me through a demo of mindfulness drawing/painting. Although she is in Germany and I am near Washington D.C., she has such a warm, engaging way about her that made me feel like we were doing this powerful activity in the same room. It was obvious right away why corporations and other groups ask her to lead their teams or groups in this type of soothing stress-relief. The benefits go beyond boosting employee moral and productivity. I felt more clarity and a strong, valuable sense of being centered for a long time after our mindful painting time together. I hope our discussion and the demo inspires you to pick up some markers or paint and USE THEM during your work today. Even if it is just for five minutes, listen to Anne's guidance in this video.
