Why I Do This Work
When I was "successful" at work, my family and friends often paid the price with much more of my absence or lower energy around them.
Even though I kept being promoted, I began to have recurring health challenges, damaging relationship problems, and other serious setbacks.
I thought all of this was "the norm" and that I should just be grateful for what I had.
But something inside my soul kept whispering there was a better way life could be.
I then spent many years learning and practicing natural, powerful techniques that made me more aware of the societal conditioning and default programming inside me.
I woke up to the fact that I had mostly disconnected from my intuitive nature.
I also began to realize my damaged childhood past and other traumatic life experience had made me put up many walls.
It finally occurred to me that to protect myself from pain, rejection, and shame, the outer world had become more of my focus rather than my inner world.
When I began studying meditation and mindfulness alongside some of the most incredible leaders in the personal development industry, a big, healing shift began. Then other dynamic teachers like Abraham Hicks and many more crossed my path (ask me sometime what it's like to live with monks for a week).
Finally, after a lot of therapy, coaching and support, I could hear my higher self again and regained my self-trust.
I started to develop a deep passion to help other women cut their own patterns of self-abandoning, people pleasing, imposter syndrome, and high functioning anxiety.
Changes in my personal and professional life began to gain positive momentum, including starting my own coaching business instead of continuing in the fields of social work, counseling or therapy.
For me, I realized my life experience plus all my years of training could better serve other women who had done the healing work that therapy can provide. I wanted to expand myself and learn all I could to also equip and resource them to move forward towards they quality of life they desired.
And ever since, I continue to learn and offer all I can about what works best to grow and glow from the inside out. My most recent education and training included a rigorous year-long program based in evidence-based practices and neuroscience research where I gained my Life Coach Certification.
I am in the process of becoming a Board Certified Coach as well.
Currently, my coaching with women offers practical tools and holistic practices that upgrade how they approach personal and/or professional growth.

More Of My Work Experience & Credentials
I loved being a Communications major in undergrad and later a Masters in Counseling graduate student at George Mason University. I studied the best ways that people use to get their message across effectively as well as what it takes to not fall into the traps of burn-out as a high achieving professional.
Long before starting my own business, I served in AmeriCorps after college and worked for other non-profits. I then dedicated almost fifteen years of my career as a leader and manager in public service coaching jobseekers, career changers, and small business owners while working closely to help employers find their best hires.
But I noticed over and over again that traditional methods of obtaining professional opportunities were often slow, frustrating, and full of dead ends.
This discovery led me to combining my lessons as a career and life development professional with my training in spiritual practices, including yoga, Reiki, and meditation, into my coaching. I also create and share stress-reducing tools that help boring, heavy chores, such as interview prep and building up your visibility on LinkedIn, be more enjoyable and successful.
Today, it is my passion to support you through these rapidly changing, chaotic and often terrifying times. It is a revolutionary act to invest in support that gets us unstuck from doubt, fear, and overwhelm.
It's no secret to my family and friends that I love what I do to help others build satisfying career and life momentum. I am also a proud Mom who enjoys anything that keeps things fun at work. I love Lip Sync Battles and celebrating everything from National Chocolate Day to April Fool's Day, watching General Hospital (since I was ten ☺️), cheering on my beloved alma mater GMU (go Mason Nation), and eating all types of chips and salsa (if you add in guacamole we might become besties).

How To Pick The Right Coach
It's a big decision to invest in yourself and hire a coach.
It's my honor every time a woman who is committed to her own inner growth and outer impact chooses to work with me.
When exploring your options for coaches, it is key that you look for:
► several years of experience (you don't want to be someone's 1st rodeo, right?)
► specialized training and education in helping professions (look for degrees, certifications, and verified success stories)
► strong reputation both with clients and with their personal brand (dive into their social media and LinkedIn!)
► results-oriented as well as supportive (keeps you accountable for making real, sustainable change and progress towards your goals)
► confirm that their coaching style aligns with how you work best (ask them questions and meet in person before you send any payments!)

How I meet this criteria:
I am a proud alumni of George Mason University two times over. I loved that school so much! I even named my first born son Mason because it's also where I met my husband.
I earned my Bachelor's in Communications (while working three jobs to pay for it).
After graduation, I dedicated a full year to serving in AmeriCorps which helped me hear even louder the call to help others shine. I later worked for non-profits and corporate jobs, but once I started working in employment centers my passion for coaching really caught on fire. I was soon promoted to develop employment programs and train staff to help others gain meaningful work, leadership skills, and much more.
A few years later, I discovered I wanted to dig deeper into how I could support and inspire others. I went back for my Masters degree at GMU and was accepted into their highly acclaimed (and challenging) Counseling and Human Development program.
For over a decade, while rising up in leadership and management positions (see details in my LinkedIn profile), I coached thousands of jobseekers, career changers, and self-employed contractors. I also trained my staff that I hired to thrive at coaching others on how to interview, impress employers, strengthen their communication, and find their next best career and life step.
I'm a long-standing, active member in the international Female Entrepreneur's Association and I also have led a mind-body-spirit group for stressed Moms in my local community for over ten years.
Recently, I chose to dive deeper into the most current neuroscience, positive psychology, and other leading edge methods for well-being. In July 2025, I earned an updated Life Coaching Certification and I am moving forward to obtain a board coaching certification.
Although I have a lot of practical tools and training, I never coach without being connected to my intuitive side. I use a lot of creative exercises in my sessions including pulling oracle cards, numerology, Reiki, guided meditation to help my clients bypass cognitive defenses.
It's key to faster results that we aren't just going through the motions of a coaching session, but we are also going deep when needed and leveraging our inner guidance.
