What are the benefits of coaching with Shea Ki?
You can read all the interview tips and books out there (always a great idea!), but until you practice with a professional you won't know for sure if you are fully prepared.

What will happen during a coaching session?
Coaching sessions are set up by appointment and occur online via Zoom or on the phone.

This is the best part! Just like when someone practices for a sporting event, musical, or test in school, you will be able to gain more confidence and skills when you practice interviewing with an experienced coach. Depending on your level of experience with interviewing, you'll be asked a variety of questions customized to your situation and goals. You'll receive constructive feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement. We will also discuss more tips and try out several holistic stress relievers so you can be your most relaxed, confident, and prepared version of yourself at the interview. 

I see that coaching packages will soon be available, but what if you want to do a single session? Is paying for one session available?
The level of confidence, increased skills, and professional feedback after participating in multiple coaching sessions by far outweigh the experience of one coaching session. Providing only one session feels like half-baking a cake and wondering why it tastes flat and not ready to put on the table for all to admire. Your success in the hot seat is the top priority.

Walking into an interview with only half of what you need for it to be a positive success is not something I can stand by. I offer packages of multiple coaching sessions so you get the most beneficial increase in skills that stay with you over time. I do also offer group online coaching where the service fee is less per person as it is shared among all of those participating. Contact me if that is a service you want more information about on how to set up a group coaching experience.  

Are coaching sessions recorded and if so, why?
Your coaching sessions are  recorded so I can review them again afterwards and send you more specific feedback and recommendations by email. I share some content from my coaching sessions on social media and my website to help others learn tips. However, I do not include any voices, faces, or other specific information about clients that I serve unless you have signed a consent form or sent me an email that notes permission. If you prefer your session to not be recorded, just let me know before the session time. Keeping your information safe is a top priority.

How do you protect my information and confidentiality?
Your career success and keeping your information safe are of the highest importance.  You can ask to read my Terms and Privacy Policy and contact me if you have any further questions. If you are under 18, you must check with your parent or guardian before booking and paying for any coaching service online. They most likely will be happy to support your efforts and approve of you moving forward so you can have more success at interviewing.

Do you need a copy of my resume to help me?
It's optional but highly recommended. Clients get the best support from me when they send me their resume or LinkedIn Profile at least 2 days before our scheduled session together.  

If you do not have a resume yet, I will email you a quick information sheet to fill out and email back to me that covers the basics. This will make the practice interview sessions be more realistic and the feedback you receive more useful.

How do I pay for your coaching services and support?
Although most clients pay 100% upfront, I'm flexible and allow for 50% to be paid upfront and the last 50% to be paid after 1 one month (30 days) from when we start working together. 

By taking care of the payment for the practice session upfront, it is more likely you arrive online at your coaching session more engaged and "on" as if it is a real interview. The more realistic the practice sessions feel, the better performance you will have at an interview when it is the real deal! PayPal is used for payments. 

If you are not satisfied with the paid coaching sessions you experience, I need to be informed within 24 hours (or one business day) of your session. If the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, the Upgrade My Interview™ refund policy is that you will be reimbursed via PayPal within 7 days for the cost of the package you signed up for minus assessment costs and a forty dollar administrative fee for each full session that took place. 

What if I miss my online appointment for a coaching session?
You will receive reminders of your upcoming appointments over email and can also receive them over text if you prefer. At least 24 hours of notice is needed if you are requesting to reschedule. But life happens to all of us and it may be that you can't notify me one day in advance to reschedule. If it is the first time this happens, your coaching session can be rescheduled within the next 30 days. When missing your session happens more than once, a $50.00 administrative fee is added to your account that you will be invoiced for promptly. 

When does a coaching package or gift card purchased expire?
Coaching packages and gift cards purchased expire after 6 months from the date purchased. Use them when you get them to get to that brighter future faster!

Are there special offers if I refer a friend or family member?
Yes, when you refer a friend or family member to Upgrade My Interview™and they purchase an interview coaching package, you earn $20.00 credit towards any coaching package. Be sure the person you refer mentions your name in a message to me so I can make sure to put the credit towards your account. 

Can I recommend coaching with Shea Ki to my friends and family?
I appreciate your referrals. My goal is to help as many spiritually minded, talented women as I can to create better work days and attract aligned opportunities.
