As a holistic interview coach, I'm often asked what is the one tip I think that upgrades an interview the most? Creating and consistently doing a powerful, pre-interview ritual is often my answer. Have you ever watched a sports champion like Alex Morgan and heard how she prepares her mindset, body, and energy before the big game with the same routine? Or how celebrities including Beyonce have a pre-show ritual they never skip? High stakes career moments where we will be in the hot seat, especially for an interview, deserve the same intention and attention. Maybe you have a pre-interview ritual you already follow but you want to give it an upgrade. Or perhaps it's time for you to create one to start using and feel the difference it makes. Either way, the key to gain the most benefit is consistency so that your nervous system recognizes it right away.

The video has great tips. For me, I like to combine lavender with another scent like a citrus if the ritual is for a professional thing. That way I don’t get too sleepy 😴 Lavender alone makes me feel like going to dreamland. Comments are closed.
